Referral Types are used to identify how your new clients were attracted to your business. For example did they find you through a web search, through advertising, word of mouth, etc.
By tracking the referral source of your new clients you are able to understand over time what methods of advertising your business are most effective.
In this section you setup the various types of referral so that you can monitor how your new clients were attracted to your business.

Should you wish to change the description of a referral type, you can see how to amend this.
If a referral type has not been used, it is possible to delete the referral type. Note: you won't be able to run searches on previous referral types after they are deleted.
Referral types are (optionally) added to each clients record.
Overall business revenue and new business revenue is analysed by referral type in the Revenue report.
